Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

The Need

The COVID pandemic has brought in multiple challenges with serious implications on lives and livelihood, businesses and economy across the country. Given the magnitude of crisis and surge in number of cases, the healthcare sector has been under immense pressure to address the shortage of medical equipment, essential supplies and trained staff to deliver appropriate healthcare delivery to citizens. Advance Care Support

Work under a supervision of a nurse in a critical care unit to assist patient for daily living activities as per COVID protocols, infection control and bio medial guidelines; assist in taking vital records; support for working of equipment, record data, transport sample, drugs etc. within the hospitals; assistance for death care
Home Care Support

Support patient at home in daily activities while complying to COVID protocols, infection control and bio medial guidelines; assist in taking vital records; cleaning and disinfecting all materials/supplies before and after use; support for working of basic equipment such as oxygen cylinder and concentrator and data collection, entry, and record maintenance
Maternity and New Born

It will give you the background, recommendations, and tools you need to address issues related to high quality maternal and newborn care in your own setting. In particular, you will learn about the evidence behind implementing the midwifery model of care as a means to advancing the health and wellbeing of mothers and babies globally.
Advance Critical Care

Critical care focuses on resuscitating unstable patients and allowing time for recovery or the effect of specific therapies to improve outcomes and prevent death. We use Critical care in the broad sense of care provided to all critically ill patients. The course is especially designed for the graduates from the health professionals who are engaged or tend to engage in critical care practice and enhance clinical skills, competencies & equip them with proficient critical care skills to deliver safe, efficient, effective and quality patient care.
